for content titled, Rollennaht-Auftragschweißen – eine Alternative zum thermischen Spritzen hochbeanspruchter Oberflächen (Resistance Roller Seam Deposition Welding – An Alternative for Thermal Spraying of High Strained Surfaces)
Resistance seam surfacing is an economic alternative for thermal spraying especially for high abrasion wear on surfaces of simple geometry. First tests have shown that this process can also be used for producing wear protection layers on aluminium surfaces. The advantages of this process are very low energy costs, no danger for health, no loss of powder, a relatively low process temperature and a good quality of the layer. Paper text in German.
