Abstract
The results of an investigation into compound, structure and some properties of composite plasma coatings based on stellite with an addition of titanium nitride are presented. It is shown that the coating formed in a gas-air plasma is characterized by better wear resistance and resistance to scaling. The results of industrial test lend support to wide use of such coatings in machine parts and units that work under the simultaneous influence of impact, abrasive wear and high temperature.
