Abstract
An electromagnetic plasma-dynamic system and method for producing high-power plasma flows at atmospheric pressure with high frequency has been developed. In this system, plasma flow velocity reaches 2-4 × 103 m/s at temperatures up to 20 × 103 K. This paper reports results from evaluation of this system for surface layer modification and processing with very high particle acceleration.
