UCI-190 (HP) material is a general-purpose alloy for use in steam-cracking tubes and fittings and reformer furnaces. HP alloy has carburization, oxidation, and creep resistance at temperatures up to 2000 F. UCI-390 is the casting grade equivalent to alloy UNS N08811. The alloy is stable at high temperatures, weldable, and resistant to thermal gradients. UCI-390 is widely used in thermal shock applications. It is corrosion resistant in air, oxidizing and reducing flue gases, carburizing gases, salts, and molten metals.
