Colmonoy No. 43HV comprises a nickel-base alloy recommended for hard surfacing parts to resist wear, corrosion, heat, and galling. Deposits that have moderate hardness have increased ductility and slightly less resistance to abrasion than Colmonoy 53HV. Deposits can be finished by grinding or machined with carbide tooling. Colmonoy No. 43HV is supplied as an atomized powder specially sized for application with high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) systems. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance and surface qualities as well as heat treating and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-664. Producer or source: Wall Colmonoy Corporation.

Alloy Digest (1985) 34 (3): Ni-311.
Published: 01 March 1985
.... Alloy C-276 is the only material that has shown acceptable performance under the highly aggressive conditions of mixed by-pass and scrubbed flue gases in a system where high-sulfur fuel is burned. Note: I m q I mil = 0.001 inch; thus mpy = mils per year. Also. mm yr = millimeters year. Specification...

INCO Alloy C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance that is maintained even in the welded condition. It also has excellent resistance to oxidizing media. It is widely used in the severest environments encountered in chemical processing, pollution control, industrial and municipal waste treatment, pulp and paper production, and other fields. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-311. Producer or source: Huntington Alloys.
