ANACONDA Alloy 706 (also known as Cupro Nickel, 10% 706) is a wrought 90% copper-10% nickel alloy developed to provide a material less costly than the copper-nickel alloys containing 20 or 30% nickel, but yet offering much of their excellent reliability. This was achieved by adding 1.25% iron to Alloy 706 to increase its resistance to corrosion by salt water. Alloy 706 is recommended where good mechanical properties, weldability and corrosion resistance are needed. It is widely used for plates, tubing and piping that must resist seawater. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-391. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.

Nistelle Super C is a nickel-base powder metallurgy alloy designed for corrosion resistance and developed for coating and overlaying purposes. The composition of Nistelle Super C, Ni-23Cr-18Mo, is similar to that of the traditional Nistelle alloy, which is Ni-16Cr-16Mo-4.5W, but the higher chromium and molybdenum provide superior corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing corrosive media. Nistelle Super C can be applied by high-velocity oxyfuel thermal spraying or plasma transfer arc welding. This datasheet provides information on composition, microstructure, and hardness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as surface treatment and powder metal forms.Filing Code: Ni-648. Producer or source: Deloro Stellite Company Inc.
