Copper Alloy No. 932 is a cast bronze containing nominally 7% lead and 7% tin. Commercial names formerly used (not recommended) are (1) High-Leaded Tin Bronze, (2) Bearing Bronze 660 and 83-7-7-3. It has relatively low strength, good machinability and good resistance to corrosion. Its uses include bushings, bearings and corrosion-resistant castings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fracture toughness and fatigue.
