ASTM B 752 Grade 705C zirconium casting alloy is basically identical in composition and similar in properties to its wrought equivalent, UNS R60705, which is grade 705. ZIRCADYNE 706 is a zirconium-niobium (columbium) alloy containing 2-3% niobium. It is similar in chemical compositions (except for slightly lower oxygen) to Zircadyne 705 (Alloy Digest Zr-8, July 1982).
