ATI 302 (UNS S30200) is a variation of the 18Cr-8Ni austenitic alloy, the most familiar and most frequently used stainless steel. This alloy may be considered for a wide variety of applications where one or more of the following properties are important: resistance to corrosion, prevention of product contamination, ease of fabrication, attractive surface, ease of cleaning, or good strength and oughness at cryogenic temperatures. Past users of ATI 302 are generally now using ATI 304 because argon oxygen decarburizationtechnology has made lower carbon levels more easily attainable and economical. ATI 302 may be preferred over ATI 304 for temper rolled products or in other instances where its higher carbon content enables it to meet certain yield strength and tensile strength requirements while maintaining a higher level of ductility (elongation) versus that of the lower carbon ATI 304. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating and joining. Filing Code: SS-1360. Producer or source: ATI.

Atlas 310 / 310S / 310H are chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels. They combine excellent high temperature properties with good ductility and weldability. Atlas 310S (UNS S31008) is used when the application environment involves moist corrodents in a temperature range lower than that which is normally considered "high temperature" service. The lower carbon content of 310S does reduce its high temperature strength as compared to that of 310H. Atlas 310H (UNS S31009) has a carbon content restricted to exclude the lower end of the Atlas 310 range. It is the grade of choice for high temperature applications. Grade 310L encompasses a series of proprietary grades, generally with a 0.03% maximum carbon and sometimes used for very specific corrosive environments such as urea production. Like other austenitic grades the 310 family has excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures, although other grades are normally used in sub-zero environments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating and joining. Filing Code: SS-1363. Producer or source: Atlas Steels.
