ABFX SPA Alloy is a casting alloy that is unsurpassed in an application where no other alloys have ever been successful a combined corrosive and erosive environment typically characterized by fluids with 2.5 to 4.0 pH with abrasives present. This alloy is relatively brittle and after hardening it has a tensile strength of about 95,000 psi and a compressive strength of 360,000 psi. Typical applications are pump parts, mixers and coal-gasification components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: CI-47. TiCode-12 is a titanium-base alloy developed for corrosion-resisting applications. It contains nominally 0.8% nickel and 0.3% molybdenum; these additions affect corrosion resistance profoundly. They also provide an added benefit by significantly strengthening the titanium through the introduction of a small amount of beta phase into the structure and through solution effects. TiCode-12 has many applications in the process industries where its excellent corrosion resistance is needed. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ti-71. Producer or source: Titanium Metals Corporation of America.

Type CG-8M is an iron-chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to corrosion by reducing media; however, it is not suitable for use in nitric acid or other strongly oxidizing environments. Its normal microstructure after heat treatment consists of an austenitic matrix in which 15 to 35% ferrite is distributed in the form of discontinuous pools. This ferrite gives the alloy considerable resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and high strength at room and elevated temperatures. Typical uses are in the nuclear, textile and petrochemical industries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-369. Producer or source: Various stainless steel casting companies.

Type CN-7M covers a group of related complex iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloys that contain more nickel than chromium. The high nickel content together with molybdenum and copper give these alloys especially good resistance to sulfuric acid and many reducing chemicals. Among the alloys included in Type CN-7M, the so-called 20 alloy is produced in greatest quantity. The physical and mechanical property data herein are for the 20 alloy. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-393. Producer or source: Various stainless steel casting companies.

ZIRCADYNE 702 is described as unalloyed zirconium despite the fact that it contains hafnium (4.5% max.) from its ore. Hafnium is very similar to zirconium metallurgically and chemically and is not detrimental to corrosion resistance and other characteristics of zirconium in most applications (except nuclear). Because of its excellent resistance to many corrosive media and its good mechanical and heat-transfer properties, Zircadyne 702 has found widespread use in many chemical process applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Zr-7. NICROFER 6020 HMo is a nickel-base alloy with excellent resistance to corrosion and to oxidation at high temperatures. It has excellent mechanical properties at both extremely low temperatures and extremely high temperatures. Because of its high strength and its excellent resistance to various types of corrosion, this alloy is used primarily for structural parts in contact with seawater and in chemical process technology. NICROFER 6020 HMo is used also up to 1050 C (1922 F) because of its high elevated-temperature strength and remarkable resistance to oxidation. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-275.
