Carlson Alloy 70 30 Cu Ni is strong and ductile and has excellent cold-forming properties. Malleability approaches that of copper, and the alloy does not work harden rapidly. It is readily weldable by all of the arc processes and by resistance arc welding and can be brazed and soldered. Alloy 70 30 Cu Ni has excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion. Many applications are related to handling seawater. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: CU-691. Producer or source: G.O. Carlson Inc.
