MoldMax HH is a part of a family of copper based alloys that are trade named MoldMax and PROtherm. These alloys are processed to provide an optimal combination of hardness and thermal conductivity and are specified in a variety of injection and blow mold tooling applications. The HH grade is the premier copper mold alloy supplied by the producer. This alloy has hardness and strength comparable with standard tool steels but its thermal conductivity is at four to six times higher. ToughMet 2 is a high performance, wrought, heat treatable, lead-free strip Cu-Ni alloy that imparts superior mechanical performance and high thermal stability to plain bearing applications. Parts are easily formed and they can be machined either before or after heat treatment. ToughMet alloys are a line of spinodal hardened Cu-Ni anti-galling alloys for bearings capable of performing with a variety of shafting materials and lubricants.
