Copper Alloy No. 973 is a cast leaded nickel brass containing 12% nickel; it is and has been known commercially as 12% Leaded Nickel Silver. It has a pleasing whiteness and high resistance to corrosion. Among its many uses are ornamental and decorative applications and marine hardware.
