Fatigue-Proof is made by various combinations of mechanical working and thermal treatments including LaSalle’s e.t.d. (elevated-temperature drawing) process. It is suitable for most applications requiring Dura-Bar 201 (Type 1) Ni-Resist Iron, and the grades are often used interchangeably. The machinability of Dura-Bar 202 (Type 2) Ni-Resist Iron will be similar to the pearlitic grades of gray iron, namely G2 and G2A.
