GUTERL 0-1 is a nondeforming, oil-hardening, general-purpose tool and die steel. It can be oil hardened safely even in complex sections and shapes. It has a good combination of hardeness, toughness and resistance to abrasion and wear. Its many applications include dies for numerous purposes, broaches, forming rolls, stamps and knurling tools. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: TS-377. Producer or source: Guterl Special Steel Corporation.

JESSOP TRUFORM is the general-purpose, oil-hardening, non-deforming alloy tool steel for applications where dimensional accuracy is required. It shows very low distortion in heat treating and very high safety (against cracking) in hardening. Truform has deep-hardening properties, a fine-grain structure, and is unusually tough. Its many applications include blanking dies, master tools, milling and form cutters, paper knives, punches and taps. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: TS-411. Producer or source: Jessop Steel Company.

ARNE is a general-purpose, oil-hardening tool steel. It is a versatile manganese-chromium-tungsten steel suitable for a wide variety of cold-work applications. Its main characteristics include: (1) Good machinability, (2) Good dimensional stability in hardening and (3) A good combination of high surface hardness and toughness after hardening and tempering. These characteristics combine to give a steel suitable for the manufacture of tooling with good tool life and high production economy. ARNE is used for a wide range of cutting and forming tools. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and compressive strength. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: TS-436. Producer or source: Uddeholm Steel Corporation.

WANDO belongs to that class of oil-hardening tool steels known as non-deforming steels. It will develop full hardness on oil quenching from a relatively low temperature with minimum volume change, hence non-deforming. It is a general-purpose tool and die steel. Among its many applications are dies for many purposes, shear blades, taps and reamers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: TS-354. Producer or source: Cyclops Corporation.
