ALZ 410S is a ferritic stainless steel with approximately 13% Cr, and belongs with the lowest-alloyed stainless steels. The chromium content has been chosen to be on the threshold of formation of the passivation layer. It has an oxidation and corrosion resistance that is much better than that of mild steel, but cannot be compared with the corrosion resistance of the austenitic stainless steels. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on joining. Filing Code: SS-830. Producer or source: ALZ nv.
