Carlson Alloy Nitronic 50 has corrosion resistance superior to 316L and 317L with twice the yield strength at ambient temperatures. It possesses good mechanical properties at both elevated and subzero temperatures, and retains low magnetic permeability even after severe cold working or at subzero temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1025. Producer or source: C.O. Carlson Inc.

CRUCIBLE XM 19 Stainless is a nitrogen-strengthened, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance in combination with high strength. The alloy has better corrosion resistance than AISI Type 316 with approximately twice the yield strength. It can be welded, machined and cold worked using the same equipment and methods used for the conventional AISI 300 series stainless steels. It is nonmagnetic as annealed and after severe cold work. Its many uses include cables, fasteners, pumps, valves, marine hardware and springs. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-414. Producer or source: Crucible Specialty Metals Division, Colt Industries.
