Arcam Ti6Al4V ELI (Grade 23) is a titanium-based alloy that is used for the production of additively manufactured components using electron beam melting (EBM). This alloy offers the best all-round performance for a variety of weight reduction applications in aerospace, automotive, and marine equipment. It also has numerous applications in the medical industry. Arcam Ti6Al4V ELI is very similar to Arcam Ti6Al4V, except that Arcam Ti6Al4V ELI contains reduced levels of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and iron. These lower interstitials provide improved ductility and better fracture toughness. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on machining and joining. Filing Code: Ti-178. Producer or source: Arcam AB (a GE Additive Company).

for article titled, RMI 6Al-4V: Age-Hardenable Alpha Beta Titanium Alloy
RMI 6AI-4V is an alpha-beta type of titanium-base alloy that can be strengthened by age hardening. In the mill-annealed condition it has a guaranteed minimum room-temperature yield strength of 120,000 psi and this can be increased to as much as 160,000 psi by solution treating and aging. This alloy is tough and has attractive elevated-temperature properties. It is used widely for applications at temperatures up to 800 F. Typical applications are parts for jet engines, aircraft components and pressure vessels. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ti-88. Producer or source: RMI Company.
