Ugitech UGI Phynox is an austenitic cobalt-based alloy with a unique combination of high static and fatigue strength, excellent formability, and excellent corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. Its nonmagnetic characteristic is important for such devices as gyroscopes, chronoscopes, and indicating instruments. It is used over a wide range of temperatures from about –269 °C (–452 °F) to 500 °C (930 °F). This datasheet provides information on composition, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Co-137. Producer or source: Ugitech SA.
