for article titled, NICROFER 3033: Corrosion Resistant Austenitic Alloy
Nicrofer 3033, or Alloy 33, is a 31Ni-33Cr austenitic alloy with high nitrogen. The alloy has resistance to strongly oxidizing media, localized corrosion, and caustic media. It is used in sulfuric acid production. See also Alloy Digest Ni-508, revised February 2004. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-687. Producer or source: VDM Technologies Corporation.

for article titled, VDM 33: High-Chromium Austenitic Alloy
VDM 33 (Nicrofer 3033) is an austenitic alloy that has an excellent resistance against common corrosion and pitting corrosion in media containing chloride due to its well-balanced analysis and extraordinarily high chromium content. Also because of its very high strength and good workability, VDM 33 is a material that can be used for many applications in the chemical processing industry. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-786. Producer or source: VDM Metals GmbH (a subsidiary of Acerinox, S.A.).
