Special Metals Inconel G-3 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. Some of the minor elements are controlled to yield increased resistance to heat affected-zone (HAZ) corrosion and improved weldability. Special Metals Inconel G-3 has excellent corrosion resistance to oxidizing chemicals and atmospheres. It is also resistant to reducing chemicals because of its nickel and copper contents. The nickel content also provides the alloy with exceptional stress-corrosion-cracking resistance in chloride-containing environments. The high molybdenum content provides very good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The low carbon content helps prevent sensitization, giving the alloy resistance to intergranular corrosion. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-774. Producer or source: Special Metals Corporation.

JESSOP JS Alloy G-3 is a nickel-base alloy having excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions including stress corrosion. Its low carbon content and stabilization by columbium permit welding without deterioration of corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. The alloy is well suited to fabricated equipment for chemical processing and pulp and paper industries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-348. Producer or source: Jessop Steel Company.

NICROFER 4823 HMo is an austenitic nickel-chromium-iron alloy with increased molybdenum and an addition of copper. The alloy has very good corrosion resistance to a wide range of corrosive media under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. It also has excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting and stress-corrosion cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-318. Producer or source: Vereingte Deutsche Metallwerke AG.
