ATI 6230 is a solid-solution strengthened, corrosion and heat-resistant, Ni-Cr-W-Mo-Al-La alloy. It is typically used for parts requiring good resistance to oxidizing environments up to 1150 °C (2100 °F) and relatively high strength up to 980 °C (1800 °F); however, usage is not limited to such applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and heat treating. Filing Code: Ni-765. Producer or source: ATI.

Inconel 230 is a Ni-Cr-W alloy with excellent strength and resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures. The alloy offers good metallurgical stability and is readily fabricated by conventional processes and procedures. Applications for Inconel 230 are similar to those for Inconel alloy 617. (See Alloy Digest Ni-179, September 1972.) Update: This datasheet has been superceded by Inconel Alloy N06230, Alloy Digest Ni-667, March 2009. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-639. Producer or source: Special Metals Corporation. Originally published June 2006, revised January 2010.
