for article titled, ELECTRALLOY A-286: Age-Hardenable Stainless Steel
Electralloy A-286 is an austenitic precipitation-hardening Fe-Ni-Cr alloy. It is used for applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance up to 650 deg C (1200 deg F), and for lower-stress applications at higher temperatures. It has applications at ambient temperatures where a heat treatable, nonmagnetic material is required. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-977. Producer or source: Electralloy, a Division of G.O. Carlson Inc.

for article titled, CRUCIBLE A-286: Age-Hardenable Austenitic Stainless Steel
Crucible A-286 is an age-hardenable austenitic Fe-Ni-Cr alloy designed for service up to 704 deg C (1300 deg F) on jobs requiring high strength and good corrosion resistance at the operating temperature. The alloy offers high ductility in notched sections. Crucible A-286 is used in jet engines and superchargers for various high-temperature components and is one of the few age-hardenable alloys used for bolting in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-851. Producer or source: Crucible Specialty Metals.

for article titled, AISI No. 660: Age-Hardenable Austenitic Stainless Steel
AISI No. 660 is a heat-resistant iron-chromium-nickel alloy recommended for applications requiring high strength and good resistance to corrosion at temperatures up to 1300 F and for lower stresses at higher temperatures. This age-hardenable stainless steel has high resistance to oxidation in continuous service to 1500 F and in intermittent service to 1800 F. Its many high-temperature applications include jet-engine turbine wheels and blades, bolting and afterburner parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-382. Producer or source: Stainless steel mills.
