HY-130 and HY-140(T) comprise one steel composition capable of developing minimum yield strengths of 130,000 and 140,000 psi with an optimum combination of toughness, hardenability, temperability, weldability, formability and fatigue properties in thicknesses through 4 inches. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-280. Producer or source: United States Steel Corporation.
