MoldStar 18 has good bearing qualities and has resistance to wear, abrasion, fatigue, deformation, and corrosion. MoldStar 21 and 22 are harder alloys and also have good bearing qualities and resistance to wear, abrasion, fatigue, deformation, and corrosion. This family of aluminum bronzes is used as wear plates, sleeve bearings, and guide pin bushings. MoldStar 18 is also known as PAS 18.
