Copper Alloy No. C86300 is a copper-zinc-aluminum-manganese-iron alloy. It may be classified as high-strength yellow brass (or high-tensile manganese bronze). In the as-cast condition it has a tensile strength of 110,000 psi minimum. It combines high strength with good ductility and good resistance to corrosion. Its applications include propellers, heavy-duty bearings, cams and marine hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-426. AMPCOLOY 66 is a copper-zinc-aluminum-manganese-iron alloy; it is classified as a high-strength yellow brass (manganese bronze).
