Copper Alloy No. C82000 is an age-hardenable copper-base casting alloy containing nominally 0.6% beryllium. Its common name is Beryllium Copper Casting Alloy 10C. It offers fairly high strength and moderate ductility with good resistance to corrosion. Its applications include bearings and bushings, current-carrying parts, contacts and switch blades, resistance-welding tips and soldering-iron tips. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-523. Producer or source: Copper alloy foundries.
