Wieland-L49 has excellent cold working and corrosion properties. Its composition makeup gives it better protection to more severe atmospheres than other copper alloys. Although it does not have as good electrical and thermal properties as other copper alloys, it is used in more critical applications, such as circuit boards, because of its corrosion properties. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: CU-703. Producer or source: Wieland Metals Inc., Wieland-Werke AG.

CDA ALLOY 725 (Now known as CDA ALLOY C72500) is a copper-nickel-tin alloy designed to improve the reliability of electrical connectors by resisting oxidation and thus providing improved solderability. It has a pleasant silver color and excellent joinability by soldering, brazing and spot and butt resistance welding. Its uses include electrical connectors, relay and switch springs, and builders' hardware. The revision is being made to correct an error in composition and for general updating. The original name (CDA ALLOY 725) is being retained because of the correction in composition. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-229. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills. Originally published March 1971, revised July 1985.

BRUSH ALLOY 174 beryllium copper is a family of alloys designed to allow denser packaging, miniaturization, higher currents and higher operating temperatures in electrical and electronic applications. It offers improved electrical and thermal conductivity, superior resistance to stress relaxation at elevated temperatures and better formability than competitive alloys, BRUSH ALLOY 174 is the preferred spring material where traditional copper-base alloys are inadequate. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: Cu-509. Producer or source: Brush Wellman Inc.. See also Alloy Digest Cu-578, November 1992.

PFINODAL C72900 is a copper-base alloy that derives its strength from spinodal hardening. It is produced by the manufacturer's wrought powder-metallurgy process for strip metal. This process provides the homogeneity and uniformity needed to achieve fully the available properties of the alloy system. Pfinodal C72900 is available in a variety of tempers. It is used for electronic connectors, switches and springs, especially for those requiring an exceptional combination of strength, thermal stability, formability and corrosion resistance. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-467. Producer or source: Pfizer Inc..
