Copper Alloy No. C43000 is a copper-zinc-tin alloy of moderate strength and ductility. It can be hot worked readily. It has excellent cold-working characteristics and can be fabricated by the conventional cold-working processes. It is used for fuse and pen clips, weather stripping, electrical switches and springs. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Cu-463. AMBRONZE 430 is a copper-zinc-tin alloy with excellent to good corrosion resistance in most environments. It has good mechanical properties and can be cold worked readily by conventional processes. Its many applications include springs, weather strip, sash chains and platers' bars and cores. AMBRONZE 430 is one of the least expensive of the fine spring alloys.
