Copper Alloy No. C35300 is a high-leaded brass (nominally 1.8% lead) that is noted for its excellent thread-rolling and knurling properties. It has a machinability rating approaching that of Free-Cutting Brass (Copper Alloy No. C36000). It is used in many screw-machine applications and has good resistance to corrosion in numerous environments. Among its many applications are clock and watch parts, wheels, gears and couplings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-433. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.
