Copper Alloy No. C34000 is a medium-leaded brass characterized by an excellent combination of free-machining and cold-working properties. It is intended for screw-machine applications where excellent thread-rolling, knurling, machining and cold-forming properties are required. Among its many applications are gears, nuts, rivets, screws and threaded connectors. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-415. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.
