UNITEMP L-605 is a cobalt-base alloy having the highest strength at high temperatures above about 1600 deg F. It is used only where high stresses exist at the upper end of the temperature range of 1700 deg F to 2000 deg F. See the updated version, Alloy Digest Co-69, revised July 1990. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Co-15.
