UCI-371 is a furnace tube alloy that can provide either a higher operating temperature with better furnace yield or a longer life than either HK 40 or HP-steel alloys. This alloy, with higher nickel content than the two noted above, permits higher concentrations of both chromium and silicon, which enhance resistance to coking, carburization, and metal dusting. The alloy is commonly referred to as 45-35+Nb and is microalloyed. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-530. Producer or source: Ultra-Cast Inc.
