TRISTELLE ALLOY TS-1 is a 30Cr-10Ni-12Co alloy developed to withstand both corrosion and galling. This alloy relies on the formation of chromium-rich carbides during solidification. It is the lowest in carbon of the Tristelle Family. The alloy is recommended for valve services. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and hardness as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance as well as joining.
