... condition. RIMA HAS C22 is primarily intended for applications requiring very good corrosion resistance. The weld deposit of Ni-22Cr- 13.5Mo-3.5W is designed to match the nickel-base alloy com- monly known as alloy C22. The high level of molybdenum is similar to alloys C276 and C4, but performance in a wide...

RIMA HAS C22 is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W-type consumable with a nominal composition of Ni, 22% Cr, 13.5% Mo, and 3% W, and it is used to join high-molybdenum-containing corrosion-resistant alloys to themselves and each other by tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. This datasheet provides information on composition, microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on heat treating and joining. Filing Code: Ni-592. Producer or source: Metrode Products Ltd.
