Remanit 4511 was developed as a modification of Type 430 to improve its aqueous corrosion resistance. Due to its composition, that is, an addition of niobium (columbium), the alloy maintains better corrosion resistance in welds and heat-affected zone areas than does Type 430. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: SS-659. Producer or source: Thyssen Stahl AG.
