RA 330TX is a high-strength austenitic heat-resistant alloy with exceptional oxidation and carburization resistance. It offers 130% greater creep and rupture strength than standard RA 330 (Alloy Digest SS-11, revised August 1970) at 1800 F. Carburization and oxidation resistance are enhanced by controlled high silicon. Its many uses include furnace fans and fan shafts, muffles, retorts, heat exchangers and coal gasifier internals. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-431. Producer or source: Rolled Alloys Inc..

RA 253MA is an austenitic heat-resistant alloy with high strength and outstanding oxidation resistance. The use of rare earth metals in combination with silicon provides oxidation resistance to about 2100 F. Nitrogen, carbon and dispersed rare earth and alkali metal oxides provide creep rupture strength comparable to nickel-base alloys. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: SS-469. Producer or source: Rolled Alloys Inc..

for article titled, AVESTA 654 SMO: Pitting and Crevice Corrosion Resistant Austenitic Stainless Steel
AVESTA 654 SMO is an austenitic stainless steel which due to its high content of molybdenum and nitrogen possesses excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It also has very high resistance to general corrosion in acids, especially those containing halide ions. Furthermore, its mechanical strength is high in comparison with conventional austenitic grades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: SS-552. Producer or source: Avesta Sheffield Inc.
