MT-104 is a powder-metallurgical molybdenum alloy which was developed for applications requiring hardness and high-temperature properties superior to those of unalloyed molybdenum. When wrought, MT-104 is a precipitation-strengthened material with high-temperature properties similar to those of arc-cast TZM, which has the same composition. Suggested uses are dies for extrusion, hot pressing, and die casting and for a wide structural components that operate at high temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Mo-8. Producer or source: Sylvania Electric Products Inc..

CABOT COLUMBIUM (NIOBIUM) finds one of its major uses as an alloy of Columbium 1% Zirconium for sodium lamp applications. Other uses include Nickel and Ferro Columbium as an alloy additive for the super alloy industry and as Columbium Titanium for superconducting applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cb-23. Producer or source: Cabot Corporation.
