Microzinc Alloy 700 is a zinc-copper-titanium alloy with good creep strength, good ductility, low thermal expansion, good solderability, and good electrical conductivity. Processing differences give two commercial products or classes designated 701 and 702. This alloy is corrosion resistant and does not stain other materials. Its uses include architectural components and roofing systems. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Zn-24. Producer or source: Ball Corporation, Metal and Chemical Division.
