Marinel 230 is an ultrahigh-strength alloy with improved bearing and hardness properties compared to Marinel (see Alloy Digest Cu-602, December 1995). It is a copper alloy with 18% nickel and high manganese and aluminum. It develops high strength with excellent corrosion resistance in seawater. It is the successor alloy to Marinel 220 (see Alloy Digest Cu-736, September 2005). This datasheet provides information on physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and machining. Filing Code: CU-737. Producer or source: Langley Alloys.
