G.110 is an 18% nickel alloy steel, possessing an excellent combination of toughness and ductility at yield strength levels of 250,000 psi. The strength developed is independent of mass effect and rate of cooling, and is achieved by a simple aging treatment. The alloy is recommended for applications such as rocket motor cases and accessories, bolts and fasteners and aircraft structural components- particularly landing gear. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-225. Producer or source: Jessop-Saville Ltd, Brightside Works.
