Special Metals Inconel C-276 is a wrought, Ni-Mo-Cr-Fe-W alloy that has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive media. The high molybdenum content makes the alloy especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. The low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to maintain resistance to intergranular attack in heat-affected zones of welded joints. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-768. Producer or source: Special Metals Corporation.
