HIDUMINIUM RR56 is a heat-treatable aluminium-base alloy recommended for general purpose forgings. It enables production of material which is readily worked in the hot stage and gives high mechanical properties, both for structural use and for use at moderately elevated temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-7. Producer or source: High Duty Alloys Ltd.
