FERRO-TIC CM is a machinable grade of cemented carbide which can be hardened by oil quenching after machining to shape. It is hardened to Rockwell C66-70 and exhibits excellent abrasion resistance. It is recommended for heavy cold heading or forming dies. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and compressive strength as well as creep. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: TS-228. Producer or source: Chromalloy American Corporation, Sintercast Division.
