FERRALIUM alloy SD40 is a modification of FERRALIUM alloy 255 (Alloy Digest SS-481, January 1987) with higher nominal molybdenum and nitrogen. It meets the empirical PREN formula to a minimum 40. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
