Carlson alloy Nitronic 33 has twice the yield strength of 304 stainless with comparable corrosion resistance. The low magnetic permeability of the alloy is retained after severe cold working. The resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is superior to Type 304. Nitronic 33 has excellent strength and ductility at cryogenic temperature, and wear and galling resistance is superior to the standard austenitic grades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on low temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: SS-931. Producer or source: G.O. Carlson Inc., Electralloy.

Carlson Alloy Nitronic 40 has corrosion resistance superior to 316L and 317L with twice the yield strength at ambient temperatures. Possesses good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures. Retains low magnetic permeability even after severe cold working or at sub-zero temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1228. Producer or source: G.O. Carlson Inc..
