Carlson alloy Nitronic 33 has twice the yield strength of 304 stainless with comparable corrosion resistance. The low magnetic permeability of the alloy is retained after severe cold working. The resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is superior to Type 304. Nitronic 33 has excellent strength and ductility at cryogenic temperature, and wear and galling resistance is superior to the standard austenitic grades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on low temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: SS-931. Producer or source: G.O. Carlson Inc., Electralloy.
