EASTERN STAINLESS ES-2205 is a very low carbon ferritic-austenetic stainless steel with an excellent combination of strength and corrosion-resistant properties under a wide variety of applications. It has twice the yield strength of the austenitic stainless steel. Both machinability and weldability are good. The uses of ES-2205 include heat exchangers, tubes and other components and equipment that must resist chloride-containing media, inorganic acids and organic acids.
