Dura-Bar 100-70-03 is a pearlitic ductile iron that is used for continuous cast products. It has the best wear resistance of the ascast ductile irons and is used in applications requiring high strength and high wear resistance. This grade is normally used as an alternative to quenched and tempered steels that have hardness values less than 302 HBW.
