AMBRALOY 610 is an aluminum bronze; nominally it contains 92% copper and 8% aluminum. It is an engineering material of medium strength and ductility and a good capacity for being hot worked or cold worked. It has excellent esistance to corrosion and an attractive gold color which makes it highly suitable for decorative applications. Its engineering uses include shafts, bolts and pump parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-465. Producer or source: ARCO Metals Company, American Brass. Originally published October 1983, revised January 1984.
